Alan F. Tischer, age 59, of Galion passed away unexpectedly Tuesday June 25, 2024 at his home.
Born date in Galion on November 2, 1965, he was the son of Fred and Nancy (Montey) Tischer.
Alan was a 1984 graduate of Galion High School. He worked for over 30 years at Covert Manufacturing and never missed a day of work. He loved dogs and reptiles. He was a good artist and enjoyed woodworking. He was a good and kind person who was humble and kept to himself. He was smart and enjoyed the simple things in life including gardening and nature.
He is survived by his sister Patti (Scott) Brooks, nephews Nathan and Andrew Brooks, and his uncle Alan (Mary) Montey.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step father Robert Totman who passed away last month.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 – 11:00 AM Saturday July 13, 2024 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where a memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM. Buri
