CALEDONIA - Steven "Steve" Lee Barr, age 49, of Caledonia, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior, Friday evening, August 9, 2024, following a more than yearlong battle with colon cancer. On January 8, 1975, Steve was born in Galion, Ohio, a son of Floyd Raymond and Louise Ann (Burkhart) Barr. He graduated from River Valley High School in the Class of 1993. A few years after high school, Steve began working for Pillsbury in Martel. He was there for 11 years before an injury forced him to look in another direction. While working there, he met the love of his life, Stephanie Ann Bloomfield. Their parents set them up on a blind date, and they soon realized they were meant to be. They were married on June 23, 2001, at Edison Methodist Church, and shared the last 23 wonderful years as husband and wife.
