James Earl Randas, 79, of Galion, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Friday, August 16th, after a long and devoted life of serving the Lord.
Jim, as he was affectionately known by friends and family, was born in Lima, Ohio on September 17, 1944. He married the love of his life, Connie Sue Winget, on June 21,1969 and together they embarked on a journey of faith. Jim completed Berean Bible College and was ordained in the Assemblies of God in 1979. Jim dedicated fifty years to pastoral ministry, serving in various roles including: pastor of Galion First Assembly of God, visitation pastor at the Galion First United Methodist Church, and later at the Lexington Presbyterian Church, where he continued to share the gospel with unwavering dedication.
Jim's life was marked by his deep love for his family and his commitment to his faith. He was a cherished father to Jennifer Louise (Donald) Hill and James Earl (Dionna) Randas II, and a proud grandfather to Olivia Catherine (Morgan) Brittain, Selah
