GRANVILLE - Donna M. Stowe passed away peacefully on August 11, 2024, in Granville, OH. Her husband of more than 70 years, Bob Stowe, was at her bedside. Donna came into this world on December 23, 1933, to Lee and Gertrude Thatcher. After graduating from Galion High School, Donna matriculated at Columbus Business School. Donna was only 19 when she married the man who was the love of her life, Bob Stowe, on September 19,1953. It was the best decision she ever made. Donna started her career at North Electric Company in the bookkeeping department. Eventually, in 1964, she and Bob started their own company in Galion, Bob Stowe Motor Sales. Donna worked as the office manager. Along the way, Bob and Donna started a family, first with the arrival of their daughter Lynn, and then Karen. Donna was a 60+ year member of the Naomi Chapter of Eastern Star and Worthy Matron of the Galion chapter I. 1963.
