Therese Sue Holtz, age 74 of Marion, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at her home.
Therese was born October 7, 1950 in Marion, the daughter of Bernard Davis and Mary Cecila (Bray) Johnson. She was educated in Marion and graduated from Pleasant High School in the class of 1968. She earned her nursing degree from Maion Technical College. Her career spanned over two decades as a Registered Nurse and she retired from Morrow County Hospital in 2018.
On September 15, 1979 she was united in marriage to Stephen Willard Holtz.
Therese enjoyed being outdoors, meticulously taking care of her beautiful yard. She was a gifted artist and an avid quilter. She had a great fondness for dogs and enjoyed daily walks with them along with volunteering her time at the Marion County Humane Society. Traveling was a highlight for her, always looking forward to the next great adventure. She was a woman of deep and abiding faith and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
