Sue Flower, 82, of Bucyrus, died unexpectedly at her residence on Sunday, March 9, 2025 as result of failing health.She was born December 1, 1942 in Wichita, Kansas to the late Claude Edwin and Lavora Lucille (Burke) Foltz. Sue graduated from North High School in Wichita and attended Kansas University where she excelled at playing the violin and performed in the symphony orchestra. She got married and cared for her family as a homemaker until her children were a little older, at which time she focused on becoming an LPN. Once obtained, she cared for residents mainly at Terrace Gardens in Wichita until the early 1990s, retiring only due to her decline in health.Sue had been active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and also enjoyed years of performing with her mother and daughter as part of the “Three Gs”, a trio who performed in front of various audiences. They consist of piano, violin and oboe.Sue was a caring mother and grandmother, who sacrificed for those she loved
