GALION - True to her Irish roots, Joyce A. Kirk, 86, of Galion passed away on St. Patrick's Day, Monday, March 17, 2025, at Magnolia Terrace in Galion. Born August 31, 1938, in Centerville, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Herbert and Nellie (Billups) McComas. She married Leonard A. Kirk on September 1, 1956, and he preceded her on May 8, 2013. She was a member of Christ Covenant Church in Galion, formally known as Christ United Methodist Church. Joyce was a member of the Naomi Chapter of the Order of The Eastern Star and the Ruth Circle at Christ Covenant Church. She was an ambassador of the Galion Chamber of Commerce and was on the Galion Public Library Board. She worked at Sears, First National Bank, Peabody Galion and Galion Building and Loan. Joyce enjoyed flower gardening, golfing and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
