Janet Kay Ward, a loving mother, daughter, grandma and sister passed away surrounded by those she loved on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the young age of 67.
Janet was born on July 27, 1957 in Findlay, Ohio to Derald "Bud" and Shirley (Winkle) Siferd. She married Jim Ward in November of 1996 and he preceded her in death in 2001. Janet is survived by her loving children: Bryan (Kaylee) Barfell of Findlay, Erica Myers of Findlay and Debra Myers of Bluffton; 9 grandchildren; mother: Shirley Siferd of Findlay and siblings: Nancy Rice of Findlay, Linda Putnam of Carey, Kevin (Cheryl) Siferd of Fairborn and Jennifer (Roscoe) Strader of Van Buren and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by father: Derald "Bud" Siferd and her brother Keith (Christine) Siferd and brothers-in-law: John Putnam and Perry Rice.
Janet attended McComb High School and later graduated from Findlay College with an Associates Degree in Food Services. Janet was a manager for many restaurants in Northwe
